They worked with youth in Mikve Israel boarding school in Holon, creating a grafitti covering one of the buildings wall and tie-dye T-shirts. They also created a giant graffiti painting on the hall walls at the Center for Digital Art, and tie-dye T-shirts with teenagers from the neighborhood.

COMMUNITY NOW SYMPOSIUM

In February 2015 the Symposium 'COMMUNITY NOW?' took place in Berlin.
Gilly, Sylvia and Stephan presented the 'Glocal Neighbours' project there and learned about other activities in the field of community building. Of course it was also a good chance to exchange with the other participants and to extend the network.

Tzzazit artists – Eili Levy and Uri Levinson, have started to work in Jessy Cohen this year, at the Center for Digital Art, as "Artist in the Community", with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Several workshops for various groups will take place during the year, for children, youth, adults and pensioners.
Each workshop includes a few sessions. Participants will create a moving installation operated by an electrical engine named "Meizaz".

Then they go somewhere. Let's see what happens next...

Well, that was not too much. But then, Aurele forgot to turn off the screens. And this gives us the opportunity to peak into an artist's life. How exciting!

Obviously, the sun also activates the screens recording. Other than that, it seems like there is something going on in Aurele's gallery, right? Maybe a new exhibition? Stay tuned...
